The United States Mint and the British Royal Mint have formed a groundbreaking partnership in which Gordon Summers and Joseph Menna, the Chief Engravers of these two mints, have collaborated on a coin design together for the first time.  

The masterfully crafted design unites the national symbols of Britannia and Liberty, a physical representation of the ‘special relationship' shared between the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
