Long Island Rare Coin & Currency is owned and operated by Buddy Alleva, who has been a major wholesaler in the numismatic industry for over 50 years. He and his very competent staff are always ready to offer to all numismatic and currency collectors the great merchandise they have been wholesaling for years.

Buddy has been a member of the Professional Numismatic Guild (#441) since 1989. He has also been a member of the Professional Numismatist Guild's Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force since its inception in November 2018. Buddy has also been a member of the ANA, FUN and the Central States Society for 35 years. Our company has been members and a submission center for PCGS and NGC for over 30 years. Buddy is also a contributor to “A Guide Book of the United States Coins,” The Redbook.
